What You’ll Do

  • Safely lead daily traffic control operations and oversee the setup of compliant work zones
  • Supervise and support crew members, promoting safety, accountability, and teamwork
  • Conduct pre-job briefings and communicate directly with clients on-site
  • Ensure safe work zone setups, including signs, cones, and proper equipment use
  • Monitor vehicles and equipment, perform inspections, and document usage
  • Manage time and crew readiness—punctuality and reliability are key to our client satisfaction
  • Respond to hazards and emergencies using established safety protocols
  • Use mobile tools for field operations and complete documentation and reporting

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Valid traffic control certification (e.g., ATSSA Flagger Certification)
  • Experience in traffic control or construction; leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to:
  • Set up and manage safe, compliant work zones
  • Lead field teams and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Safely operate vehicles and towable equipment in alignment with company standards
  • Must be able to pass a controlled substance test and meet physical job requirements

Preferred Experience & Traits

  • Familiarity with lane closures, merges, and intersections
  • Comfortable using radios, mobile apps, and internal communication tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, confident presence in the field
  • Punctual, consistent, and focused on quality and safety

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
